Zhiqiang Feng
Mr. Feng is a distinguished expert in photovoltaic technology, boasting over three decades of experience and credited with leading his team to establish 25 world records. Presently, he serves as Vice President of Trina Solar Co., Ltd. Additionally, Mr. Feng holds various prestigious positions, including membership in the Expert Group of the National 863 Program, directorship of the China Photovoltaic Professional Committee of the China Renewable Energy Society, vice presidency of the Jiangsu Collaborative Innovation Center of Photovoltaic Science and Engineering, directorship of the Engineering and Technology Research Center of Enterprises in Jiangsu Province, and a part-time professorship at the School of Physics at Sun Yat-sen University. Mr. Feng has been honored with several awards for his outstanding contributions to the field. Notably, he received the PV Outstanding Contribution Award at the 29th International Photovoltaic Science and Engineering Conference. Furthermore, he was bestowed with the China Photovoltaic Achievement Award at the 15th China Photovoltaic Conference, the BlueSky Award for Global Top Investment Scenarios to Apply New Technologies for Renewable Energy Utilization, the Asian Photovoltaic Industry Association’s Technical Achievement Award, and the Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award.
Yifeng Chen
Mr. Chen presently holds the position of Vice President at both Trina Solar Co., Ltd. and the Central Research Institute. He has been recognized for his outstanding talents through selection for various esteemed programs, including the Young Top Talent Sub-project of the National High-level Talent Special Support Program, the National Major Talent Project (Category B), the Leadership Talent Program for “Entrepreneurship and Innovation Teams” of Jiangsu Province, and the “333 Talent Project” of Jiangsu Province. Mr. Chen‘s contributions have garnered him several prestigious awards, including the Silicon PV Award for the best paper at the SiliconPV Conference, the Young Researcher Award at the International Photovoltaic Science and Engineering Conference, the IEEE Stuart R. Wenham Young Professional Award, the Second Prize of the Science and Technology Advancement Award of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and the Second Prize of the Jiangsu Science and Technology Award. He has published 74 academic papers, one of which was featured as the cover paper of the Prog Photovolt Res Appl academic journal. Additionally, Mr. Chen has applied for over 220 patents, 91 of which have been granted.
Li Yin
Ms. Yin holds the position of Head of the Strategy and Technology Management Department and is a youth member of the Party Committee at Trina Solar Co., Ltd. Her dedication to researching and developing photovoltaic technology has led her team to achieve numerous pioneering and unparalleled accomplishments within the industry. These achievements encompass the establishment of innovation platforms, execution of research projects, and implementation of an environmentally sustainable industrial system. Ms. Yin has overseen 13 programs and projects, including China’s National Key Research and Development Program, Jiangsu Province’s dual-carbon and achievement application, and other provincial or higher-level research projects. Additionally, she has applied for 28 patents. She has been honored as a national advanced individual in IPR work, an outstanding female science and technology worker in Changzhou, and an advanced individual in innovation in Changzhou.
Hong Zhang
Mr. Zhang, a young researcher, was chosen for the National Overseas High-Level Talent Recruitment Program. He obtained his PhD from the University of Hong Kong in 2018 and pursued postdoctoral research under the supervision of Academician Michael Graetzel at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, Switzerland from 2019 to 2021. In 2022, he joined the Institute of Optoelectronics at Fudan University, where he leads projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality. His research interests encompass: (1) precise design and controllable preparation of functional nanomaterials for photovoltaics; (2) mechanisms of defect passivation in perovskite thin films and stacked photovoltaic devices; and (3) new structures and principles for photovoltaic devices.
Haibin Zhao
Mr. Zhao holds the positions of professor, doctoral supervisor, and Deputy Dean of the School of Information and Science Technology at Fudan University. He earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Physics from Fudan University in 1997 and 2000, respectively. Additionally, he obtained a Ph.D. degree in Applied Science from the College of William & Mary in the U.S. in 2006. He has been teaching at Fudan University since August 2009. His research interests encompass: (1) dynamics of charge generation, separation and transport in novel solar materials; (2) time-resolved magneto-optical spectroscopy for studying the spin dynamics of magnetic materials and semiconductors; (3) nonlinear magneto-optical spectroscopy to investigate surface and interfacial magnetism, as well as magneto-electrical coupling effects of multiferroic materials; and (4) ultra-fast spin modulation driven by light, magnetism, and electricity.
